Optimization of Android Phone

Android have variety of features and a level of personalization that enable users to truly customize Android device according to requirements. But, Android also has disadvantages in terms of performance and resource management.
Users generally find that CPU, RAM and other supporting hardware is determining factor in performance of Android devices. It is also fact that most users cannot afford high-end smartphones and often settle for mid-range devices.
In addition, some devices have great specifications on paper, but lack performance after some months of use. Following are few methods to increase performance of Android phones.

The important task is uninstalling the applications which are not used frequently and drain battery quickly. Apps like web browser, Pokemon Go, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter are used on daily basis by users. However, if there are applications which are not used regularly, they keep running in the background on your device and cause the battery to drain faster than it should. Clicking on an application from list will usually give you options to force-stop the app, user can go to Settings > Apps to uninstall or disable the application.

Numerous contacts stored in internal memory, SIM card, Skype or other chat applications slow down the device. Syncing these contacts with any cloud service increases the problem. Device could be syncing in the background the majority of the time, which occupies resources and add additional strain on your battery. It can be managed from Settings > Accounts. It has list of accounts and an option to turn off auto-sync completely.

It should be made sure that your Android device is running the most recent Android version and has the updated security patch for security and performance. It can be checked from Settings -> About Device -> Check For Updates.

If the user has advanced knowledge of Android, changing animation and other options from Developer Settings can resolve the issue. To enable developer options, Go to Settings > About Phone. It shows the list of options including version of Android and security patch installed. Clicking on Build Number for seven or eight times, will display the prompt that “You have activated Developer Options”. Now Settings will show the Developer Options in the list.

Other options like rooting, custom ROM or factory reset can also help in increasing performance of mobile device.
