Important Features of Sony Xperia XZ

Xperia XZ has 5.2-inch FullHD display has density of 424ppi, which is clear and sharp. This phone is equipped with high-quality IPS panel which makes great viewing angles and is also usable outdoors in bright daylight.

Xperia XZ has support for LTE Cat. 9. The also has dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac with 2x2 MIMO antennas for speeds up to 433Mbps. Local connectivity is available with with Bluetooth 4.2 with aptX and Low Energy, and NFC. Wi-Fi connection can provide screen casting by Miracast, Google Cast or DLNA. It can connect a DualShock controller as a portable console streaming the Playstation 4 games vis PS4 Remote Play. It supports connectivity to car's stereo system via MirrorLink.

The Xperia XZ is powered by Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS.It may be upgraded to Android Nougat in coming time.

Xperia XZ has 2,900mAh battery. It is based on Qnovo adaptive charging technology. This technology allows the phone to monitor the cell's electrochemical processes in real time and adjust charging parameters to minimize cell damage and also extend the battery's life. Its Ultra Stamina is for time when user does not expect to be able to find a power outlet for a long period of time.

The USB port is Type-C and conforms to USB 2.0 spec and not 3.0 or 3.1. It allows to link USB storage and accessories, but requires to select the data transfer mode every time connected to a PC, as it defaults to charge only.
